Privacy and transparency

Privacy Policy

This policy explains how NUR Technology Solutions handles information when you visit our website, use the ImageWorks pages, submit a comment, download the desktop application, or use ImageWorks Online.

Effective date: July 1, 2026. This page should be updated whenever the website’s data collection, advertising, analytics, or processing practices change.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to nurtechnologysolutions.com, the ImageWorks desktop-product page, and imageworks.nurtechnologysolutions.com. It does not automatically apply to third-party websites, services, or applications linked from our pages.

2. Information we may collect

Information you provide

  • Email address and comment text when you submit a comment.
  • Messages and contact details when you contact us for support or business inquiries.
  • Account details when an ImageWorks Online feature requires sign-in.

Information collected automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, and user-agent information.
  • Approximate country or city derived from an IP address or hosting-provider headers.
  • Requested page, referring page, timestamps, visits, and download-click events.
  • Cookie identifiers and advertising or analytics information, where permitted.

Please do not submit confidential, sensitive, or unnecessary personal information through public comment fields.

3. How we use information

We may use information to:

  • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve our websites and software.
  • Provide downloads, browser tools, account features, and customer support.
  • Prevent spam, abuse, fraud, automated attacks, and unauthorized activity.
  • Understand page performance, visitor activity, and feature usage.
  • Moderate comments and respond to messages.
  • Display and measure advertising where permitted.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Image processing and uploaded files

The ImageWorks desktop application is presented as an offline image-processing tool. Files processed locally by the desktop application generally remain on the user’s device unless the user separately uploads or shares them through another service.

ImageWorks Online may perform supported operations in the browser when a feature is identified as local or browser-side processing. Some present or future features may use server or third-party processing. The interface should disclose this before a file is transmitted.

Users should avoid uploading images containing confidential, biometric, financial, medical, identity-document, or other sensitive information unless they understand how the selected feature processes the file.

5. Cookies, Google AdSense, and consent

Our pages may use cookies, local storage, tags, pixels, or similar technologies for essential functionality, security, preferences, measurement, and advertising.

We use or may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve, personalize, limit, and measure ads based on visits to this and other websites, subject to applicable consent choices and Google’s policies.

Where required, visitors may be shown a consent-management message that allows them to accept, reject, or manage relevant advertising and measurement choices. Consent choices can generally be revisited through the privacy or consent controls displayed on the website.

You can also manage cookies through your browser. Blocking some cookies may affect website functionality or prevent certain features from working correctly.

6. Analytics and measurement

We use or may use Google Analytics and related measurement tools. These services can collect information about page views, interactions, approximate location, device characteristics, referral sources, and website performance. We use this information to understand aggregate usage and improve our services.

7. When information may be shared

We may share limited information with:

  • Hosting, security, database, analytics, advertising, authentication, and support providers.
  • Service providers that process information on our behalf and under appropriate instructions.
  • Authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • A successor organization in connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or transfer of the service.

We do not state that personal information is sold for money. Advertising and analytics providers may process identifiers under their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including security, support, moderation, recordkeeping, dispute resolution, and legal compliance. Retention periods can vary by data type and operational need.

Public comments may remain visible until removed or moderated. Security and access logs may be retained for a limited operational period and may be kept longer when needed to investigate abuse or protect the service.

9. Your privacy choices

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may be able to:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of information associated with you.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Manage advertising and analytics preferences through the consent message or browser controls.
  • Request removal of a comment you submitted.

We may need to verify a request before acting on it. Some information may be retained where required for security, legal, or recordkeeping purposes.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information. However, no internet transmission, database, browser application, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children’s privacy

Our services are intended for a general audience and are not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children below the minimum age required by applicable law. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information may contact us to request review and deletion.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, vendors, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when material updates are published.
